Join all six National Conversation on Race San Antonio collaborators (AITSCM, Esperanza Peace + Justice Center, SAAACAM, The Doseum, The Witte Museum, and Asian Texans for Justice) as they come together for this kick-off reception and captivating panel discussion on the crucial role cultural organizations and museums play in the public’s understanding of San Antonio’s legacies of race and racism. Panelists will highlight their work on expanding narratives, creating critical programs for community dialogues, and their future envisioning for San Antonio. Reception opens the event with cultural performances sprinkled throughout the evening.
