Brave New World
Explores transformation as classical composers absorbed the vitality of ragtime and early jazz: Milhaud’s La création du monde, Op. 81 (1923), Still’s Suite for violin and piano (1943), and a second half devoted to ragtime by Joplin and early jazz by Jelly Roll Morton.
This production is not a presentation of the Carver Community Cultural Center or the Carver Development Board.
