Good, old-fashioned Texas blues-infused guitar rock

Jackie Venson is an Austin-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist hailed by Rolling Stone as one of “Austin’s rising stars” and named a “legend in the making” by Forbes. She’s shared the stage with Gary Clark Jr., Melissa Etheridge, Alanis Morissette, and Lainey Wilson, and was featured in Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase at SXSW 2024.

Venson’s breakout album Joy (2019) earned critical acclaim, and during the pandemic, her livestreaming success led to a spot on Pollstar’s Top 50 Livestreamers and an appearance on Austin City Limits. She continued to evolve with Love Transcends (2021), Evolution of Joy (2022), and Ghost in the Machine (2023), blending blues, funk, and jazz. Her latest release, The Love Anthology (2025), highlights her passion for R&B, gospel, and soul, and debuted alongside her annual residency at Antone’s.

Kam Franklin is a singer-songwriter, music producer, activist, writer, orator, model, visual artist, and actress from Houston, TX. Best known for her work with the gulf coast soul band, The Suffers, she began singing gospel music at the age of five. Kam is also known for her unique collaborations, including performances with Jon Batiste, Questlove, Chaka Khan, and Brandi Carlile.
