The Carver’s performing arts summer camps in theatre, dance and music production are the season’s hottest tickets, popular with both kids and parents. Taught by professional instructors, each experience is designed to encourage creativity, build self-confidence, and promote positive personal growth.

Our three-week camp offers young actors immersive experience in musical theatre. The actor’s experience includes acting, vocal and dance instruction in preparation for a one-night only public performance of Shrek The Musical JR. A technical program for students interested in learning production and backstage elements offers learning opportunities in set design, props, costuming, lighting, and sound.

Our two-week immersive program promotes creativity and discipline, while encouraging each student to reach their highest potential in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African and Tap (optional). Two instructional levels create engaging learning environments for beginning/intermediate students and advanced learners. Prior dance instruction, self-motivation, and working knowledge of dance fundamentals are strongly advised. Enrolled households will incur additional expenses for required attire and footwear.

DJ Camp with The AM Project is an interactive adventure in music, technology and dance led by a talented mix professional DJ’s and staff experienced in learning environment instruction. It begins with a recap of DJing and music history, then students discover beat matching and mixing on the Hercules Impulse 200 Controller and mixing Software. Visits by guest DJs and industry professionals give students a chance to learn from those working in the business. Days are structured but offer opportunities for creative and independent learners. Camp concludes with each DJ performing a solo set at the DJ Camp After Party.
