San Antonio’s premier smooth jazz saxophonist, BillyRay Sheppard, is shaking up the city. BillyRay has been playing beautiful music since the 80’s and his musical roots run deep with earliest experiences in Blues, R&B, Reggae, Latin, Tejano and Country bands. His love for music has kept him grounded and his love for jazz keeps him performing.
Mr. Sheppard is one of the first call smooth jazz performers in the San Antonio area. He has shared his talents on stage with Ray Charles, Julio Iglesias, Willie Nelson, Roy Hargrove, The Dirty Dozen Band, and Johnny Bush just to name a few. With his rich, warm soulful tone he has made a name for himself with his saxophone. In addition to performing in concerts, BillyRay also performs as a soloist, or band performer. He can be heard on many artists’ recordings. He will soon debut his album, A Place in Time.
