Edward Morgan and Daniel Scott established The MorganScott Ballet as a vehicle for creating and presenting their own original ballets that run the gamut of dance styles, from classical to jazz. Morgan and Scott aim to maintain the standards of excellence and the artistic refinement typically associated with classical ballet, whether a ballet is stylized as classical, neoclassical, contemporary or jazz.
Morgan and Scott directed the Joffrey II Concert Dancers as Artistic Director and Producing Director, respectively. It was their critical and popular success with this group that inspired them to form their own professional company. Morgan has a diverse background including ten years as a principal dancer of The Joffrey Ballet and choreographer of the internationally successful television dance show ClubMTV. Scott began working with Morgan in 1991 when he assisted him in producing his works on ClubMTV.For more information visit www.morganscottballet.org.
