At the Little Carver

Carolyn Thompson, a native of San Antonio, started singing as a young girl in the Cherub Choir at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church. She also participated in UIL competitions and solo ensemble throughout high school. Upon graduation she moved to Houston, Texas and joined a group called Sweetness, a UTEX Production, performing with national artists traveling in Texas and Louisiana. Thompson returned to San Antonio to sing in the Mt. Zion First Baptist Church choir and other venues. Thompson has opened for recording artists Bobby Blue Bland, Coco Taylor, Windsor Village UMC and the late Rev. James Cleveland.
